Lagrene, Bireli
(1966- )
   France. Musician. Sinto Gypsy jazz guitarist béorn in Alsace. Taught by his father, Fiso, from the age of four, he began touring at an early age. He started recording at the age of 11, with Routes de Django (1981) and later Acoustic Moments and Bireli Swing. Switching to the electric guitar, he developed a style of fiery speed and versatility, moving away from mere imitation of Django Reinhardt.
