Telephone Legal Advice Service for Travellers

Telephone Legal Advice Service for Travellers
   (T-LAST)
Wales. Est. 1995. Operated by the Cardiff Law School as a three-year project, T-LAST aimed to provide not only a telephone legal advice service for Great Britain, as the name suggests, but also to develop a network of legal practitioners and to publish research about the needs of Travelers and Gypsies. Its first conference took place in March 1997. It began to publish a newsletter called Travellers'Times, which has outlasted the telephone service. There are currently other phone advice lines in England in Birmingham and Brighton.
