Hiroshima Foundation
The foundation works to support peace activities in the cultural field. It was founded after her death in memory of Swedish-born author Edith Morris, whose best-known novel is Flowers of Hiroshima. In 2002, the foundation elected to bestow its awards on individuals who have played key roles in preserving and promoting Romany culture-including Valdemar Kalinin, Rahim Burhan, and Roberto Ciulli.
