Liozna

Liozna
A collective farm in the Soviet Union, near Vitebsk, in the years between the world wars. Originally a Jewish collective farm, the authorities moved the Jewish farmers out and replaced them with Romanies. Later, the Gypsies in their turn were displaced, as Josef Stalin decided that Gypsy nationalism was dangerous.
