Metech, Juliette

   France. Contemporary painter. She grew up as an artist in her father's circus until the age of 19, when her father died. She then went into business selling carpets door-to-door, and it was not until the age of 52 that Metech began to paint seriously. Many of her pieces can be seen in French galleries.
