- National Romani Traveller Alliance
- United Kingdom. 2004. Chairman: Barrie Taylor. This alliance was set up at a meeting in Peterborough hosted by Peter Mercer. It is supported by the National Travellers Action Group and the United Kingdom Association of Gypsy Women. It crosses the boundaries between the International Romani Union and the Romani National Congress, as Mercer is the British representative on the Union praesidium and Taylor of Unified Nomadic and Independent Transnational Education is linked with the congress. One reason for setting up the alliance was the feeling among its members that the Gypsy and Traveller Law Reform Coalition was dominated by its non-Gypsy members and was lobbying for a new Act of Parliament without sufficient consultation with grassroots Gypsy opinion.
