Gypsy Studies

Gypsy Studies
Gypsy studies were largely amateur until the 1950s. Since then, departments for or courses in Gypsy Studies have been set up at a number of academic institutions in Europe-for example, St. Charles University in Prague (Romani language), Greenwich University in England, and the pedagogical college in Kosice in Slovakia-at the University of Texas in the United States, and elsewhere.
