- (1939- )Hungary. Poet, translator, and civil rights activist. He translated the four gospels into Romani as well as Federico Garcia Lorca's Romancero gitano, which appeared in a trilingual edition (Romani, Hungarian, Spanish) in Budapest. He was a praesidium member of the International Romani Union. In 1979 he became the head of a new political organization for the Romanies in Hungary-the Orzsagos Ciganytanacs (National Gypsy Council).
