Kalinin, Valdemar

Kalinin, Valdemar
(1946- )
   Belarus. Teacher, poet, and translator. He currently resides in London. Kalinin translated the New Testament into Romani and is currently preparing the Old Testament for publication. In 2002 he was a joint recipient of the Hiroshima Foundation Award, and he won the Roma Literary Award for Translation in 2003.
