Katitzi

Katitzi
   Largely autobiographical character in a series of 13 books for children written by Katarina Taikon in 1975-1976. In 1979 the books came out in cartoon form, and there was also a film. Hans Caldaras recorded the song "Katitzi" in Taikon's honor. In 2003 the books were turned into a play. The books are still popular and have been translated into several languages.
