- Racz, Aladar (Aladar Jaszbareny)
- (1886-1958)Hungary. Cimbalom player of international standing. Racz was well known for his interpretations of Bach, Beethoven, and other classical composers by playing the technical equivalent on a reconstructed sounding board. He played in Budapest in a Gypsy band for 16 years. His recitals in Europe included a 1910 performance in Paris, a 1926 recital at the Concert Hall in Lausanne, Switzerland, and a 1938 concert in Rome, after which he was invited to join the Academy of Music in Budapest.
