Stewart, Belle
(1906-1997)
   Scotland. Singer. She was a Scottish Traveler. She, her husband Alex (singer and piper), and her daughters Sheila MacGregor (Sheila Stewart) and Lizzie Higgins became famous in folk clubs and concert halls throughout Scotland and England. Their many recordings include the CDs The Travelling Stewarts and Festival at Blairgowrie.
