Chandigarh Festivals
   The Indian scholar W. R. Rishi organized two festivals so that European Romanies could come to their original homeland India and meet their long-lost cousins. Receiving the European delegates to the 1984 festival was one of the last public engagements of Indira Gandhi before her assassination.
