Communauté Mondiale Gitane
   (CMG)
France. Est. early 1960s. Founder: Vaida Voevod III. An international organization, it was banned by the French government in 1965, and most of its work was taken over by the Comité International Tzigane. The CMG nevertheless continued to operate unofficially, until 1984 at least, under the presidency of M. Stefanovic.
